Discover our design hotel Nice train station

Located at 58 rue Hérold, the Villa Otero is a 4-star hotel establishment that wants to offer its customers a unique experience during their stay in Nice. To this end, its staff will make sure to welcome you in optimal conditions and to satisfy all your needs.

Among other things, they will be able to provide you with good tips - especially good addresses for lunch or dinner - and answer all the questions you may have about the area where our design hotel in Nice is located, namely the Musicians' district. Named for the fact that many streets are named after famous music composers, the district is known to be home to a large number of palaces and mansions erected at the end of the 19th century or the beginning of the 20th century. In addition to its beautiful Belle Époque residences, the Musicians' Quarter is also home to a large number of Art Deco buildings that deserve to be admired, especially by architecture enthusiasts.

Our design hotel Nice itself has a superb 1900 façade that bears witness to its construction during the Belle Époque. Its décor too - inspired by "la belle Otero", a famous singer and cabaret dancer from the early 20th century - allows you to dive into this period of history. Designed by the interior architect Stéphanie Cayet, it reflects the opulence of Nice's interiors of the period, where mirrors, classical paintings and Art Deco lamps coexisted. A change of scenery is therefore guaranteed.

Book a hotel in Nice Gare

By staying in our hotel Nice Gare, you will have the opportunity to discover all the most emblematic places of the Côte d'Azur city. Indeed, on foot or by public transport, all will be accessible in a few minutes only. Here are a few ideas to enhance your program of visits to Nice:

- The famous Promenade des Anglais is a must in Nice. Running along the Baie des Anges, it is a superb flowered alley lined with palm trees where joggers, cyclists, rollerbladers, but also tourists and locals can meet. During the carnival of Nice, parades parade through it while the battle of the flowers is organized there.

- The Saint-Nicolas Cathedral in Nice, a sumptuous Orthodox religious building, is worth a visit. This is a good thing as it is a 5 minute walk from our hotel Nice train station.

- Place Masséna is the heart of the city of Nice. Emblematic with its fountain of the sun and its "Sitting Tatoos", it fully deserves to be considered as one of the most beautiful squares in France. The tramway line n° 1 will take you there in 5 minutes.

- The Old Nice is the district that you must absolutely discover during a first stay in this beautiful city of the French Riviera. With its narrow streets and brightly coloured houses, it offers a typically Provencal atmosphere that can be appreciated during a stroll. Once again, the tramway n° 1 will be able to bring you to your destination. Take advantage of your trip to the old town to go to the Selaya course. A very famous flower market is held there every day. A must for the eyes... and for the nose!

- The Cimiez hill, accessible from our hotel Nice Gare via bus line 17, is home to sumptuous villas as well as the archaeological museum, the Matisse museum and beautiful Roman remains.

- The Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MAMAC) has a collection of more than 1300 works to discover. Tramway n° 1 will take you there.

But rest assured, if you prefer to go and enjoy the beaches - Nice has 8 kilometres of sandy and pebble beaches -, the Castle Hill or the Lympia port, you will have no trouble getting there from our hotel Nice Gare.

Because of its proximity to the train station but also to all sites of interest, our design hotel Nice is the perfect place to book a room for a weekend or a week's holiday on the French Riviera. So,
