Hotel Etoile Saint Ferdinand

Our hotel Porte Maillot

If the Luna Park and its neon lights that made the Porte Maillot a second starry sky in Paris has disappeared, the business world has taken full possession of the place.

The Hotel Etoile Saint Ferdinand is a charming 4-star hotel located on rue Saint Ferdinand, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. This street is one of the rare streets in this district whose calm seduces all our guests and persuades them to come back.

Indeed, it gives access to our guests between the Place Saint Ferdinand, with its real French village atmosphere, and the Avenue de la Grande Armée.

The Palais des Congrès, located just a few minutes walk from the Saint Ferdinand is the epicentre of this business district, one of the most attractive in Paris for professionals. It is here that many trade shows on various themes are organized. The Espace Champerret just a little further away (less than 2 km) is also part of the galaxy of emblematic venues of the Viparis structure that manages the major Parisian trade shows.

If the Palais des Congrès is the rallying point for professionals, artists and tourists staying in Paris, there are many emblematic places to visit from our hotel: starting with the Arc de Triomphe, 10 minutes away on foot.

Following on from this, you will find the Champs-Elysées, the Trocadéro and the Eiffel Tower. The Porte Maillot, one of the former gates of the Bois de Boulogne.

The proximity of the ring road and the motorway provide direct access to the defence district and further to the west of Paris. Indeed, the A13 leads lovers of Normandy to its magnificent beaches and green, flowery countryside.

473 metres (see map on Vianavigo) separate 36 rue Saint-Ferdinand of the Palais des Congrès from the Porte de Maillot. On foot, that means 7 minutes without hurrying. You reach it by the Place Saint-Ferdinand, the rue du Débarcadère on the left, cross the Boulevard Pereire, the entrance is in front of you.

A hotel Paris 17, in the heart of the Ternes district

Our hotel Saint-Ferdinand invites you to a fascinating journey in the 16th and 17th districts of Paris.

For example, visit the Japanese garden of the Buddhist Pantheon adjoining the Museum of Asian Arts known as the Guimet. In the fire of Monnet's paintings at the Marmottan-Monet museum ...

Or take the path of "zenitude" at the Parc des Bagatelles in the Bois de Boulogne. It cost the future Charles X the trifle of 1 million pounds. But how beautiful are these 24 hectares of gardens!

Always with the idea of traveling while staying at home, the most chic part of the 16th arrondissement, that of the embassies and consulates of foreign countries in Paris, is adorned with the Ranelagh garden and its hundred-year-old trees, a bandstand and old children's rides. It was here, in the allée Pilâtre-de-Rozier, that the first hot-air balloon flight of the brothers of the same name took place.

The Champs Élysée, the Louvre and Châtelet are only a few minutes away by metro! To get to the Eiffel Tower from Charles-de-Gaulle étoile take metro line 6. The M1 line allows you to reach the Champs-Élysées in 12 minutes from Argentina station. This same line takes you to the Louvre in 14 minutes.

In the 17th arrondissement of Paris you can find unusual and world-famous places. Unusual with the Pereire promenade and its remarkable gardens, the Loo house, a pagoda dating from 1880. For walks, far from the noise, enter the square des Batignolles. A magnificent public garden bathed by a lake fed by a shady stream..

After a little rest, take the rue des Batignolles for about 500 meters to the boulevard des Batignolles. You are not far from the Place de Clichy.

The Ternes district invites you to its many gastronomic restaurants. It is a pleasant district, on a human scale, from which you can easily reach the Champs-Élysées on foot.
